NYPL Battery Park City Branch

The new NYPL branch library in Battery Park City is located in the base of the recently completed, LEED Gold Certified Riverhouse residential building.  The 10,000 square foot two story branch is the neighborhood’s first public library.  It contains a double height entrance with overlooking mezzanine, an auditorium, children's room, outside amphitheater and conference room. The project was administered at the direction of the New York City Department of Design and Construction as a part of their Design Excellence program.
